Dr. Masatoshi Shoji is a Sendai-based certified Japanese and ESL teacher with over 30 years of teaching experience. He holds a PhD in Dental Science from Tohoku University (2024) and has extensive academic and professional credentials in education and linguistics.

• Training: Certified as a Japanese Language Instructor by the prestigious Exchange Japan Program at Bryn Mawr College (1994).

• Experience: He has taught Japanese at Carthage College and served as the Japanese Program Coordinator at the University of Missouri.

• Additional Qualifications:

  • MA in Applied Linguistics with Merit (University of Birmingham, 2013)

  • TESOL Certificate (2020)
