ABOUT
ABOUT ME

I'm an acupuncturist. I do love music and outdoor activities. Besides, I'm a tea lover. I also teach English and Japanese and offer translation from E to J or J to E in technical and medical materials. Feel free to contact me.

WHAT I'VE DONE

After graduation from Yamagata University, I taught English to juniot high school students as a full-time English Instructor in Miyagi. Next, I joined EEP program to earn MA in Education and taught Japanese at Carthage College in Kenosha, WI. Afterwards, I taught Japanese and Japanese Civilization, supervised instructors and TAs and prepared Japanese Language Curriculum as a Japanese Program Coordinator at the University of Missouri. After coming back to Japan, I have worked as an in-house technical translator for about 10 years and served for Tohoku University as an administrative staff.

WHAT I DO

Currently, I enjoy teaching English and Japanese. Besides, I work for some companies as a technical/medical translator. As I have passed national license exam in acupuncture, moxa and shiatsu in 2018 and obtained a certificate of lymphedema tharapist through Foeldi Clinic in Hinterzarten, Germany, I have been offering my therapy to the people who need them.

I have been studying bone as a Ph.D student at Tohoku University. In future, I would like to go to Europe to learn Classics to study ancient Greek and Latin with focus on medical terms.
